Walt Walford goes above and beyond to work with Industries for the Blind to ensure they meet the expectations for providing supplies to the Department of Energy at NETL. As the Warehouse Supervisor, Walt processes procurement requisitions and works to ensure that approved vendors such as Industries for the Blind are afforded the opportunity to provide these services. Industries for the Blind recently experienced several issues with their system causing disruptions to the deliveries to NETL. Walt worked tirelessly with Industries for the Blind to communicate issues promptly and helped to resolve the issue with the vendor. This extra level of communication and effort has helped to foster this relationship with a valued partner.
